Rev. Burton Williams

Rev. Burton Williams holds degrees in theology and family counseling. He pastored a church for thirty-eight years, helping people find freedom from problems and nurturing them in a relationship with Jesus Christ.Burton Williams 牧師擁有神學與家庭輔導學位。他曾牧養一間教會長達三十八年，幫助人們從困境中得著自由，並培育他們與耶穌基督建立關係。

He served as a missionary in the Philippines for five years as director of the Institute in Basic Life Principles, an organization helping youth and families make choices based on universal, non-optional principles of life. He also worked with the Philippine Department of Social Welfare, directing a center for street youth and implementing a nationwide character program for young people.他曾在菲律賓擔任宣教士五年，擔任「基本人生原則學院」（Institute in Basic Life Principles）主任，這個機構幫助青少年與家庭根據普世不變的人生原則做出抉擇。他也曾與菲律賓社會福利部合作，負責管理一間街頭青少年中心，並在全國推行青少年品格教育計畫。

He served as a chaplain at the Connecticut State Hospital, counseling men and women struggling with issues such as alcohol and drug abuse that had led to personal and family breakdown, and volunteered at a city-center Family Service Center helping couples in troubled marriages.他曾在康乃狄克州立醫院擔任院牧，輔導因酗酒、藥物濫用等問題而導致個人與家庭破碎的男女，並在市中心的家庭服務中心擔任義工，幫助婚姻陷入困境的夫婦。

Rev. Williams and his wife have been married since 1968. Together they raised two sons, home educating them through elementary and high school — one son is now an ordained minister. They have eight grandchildren.Williams 牧師與夫人自1968年結婚至今。他們在家自學撫養兩個兒子完成中小學教育——其中一位兒子如今也是一位按立牧師。他們有八個孫子女。
